Im Winter erleben Skifans die traumhafte Mittelgebirgslandschaft auf 40 Kilometern gespurten Loipen. Es gibt einen Rodellift und den Snowboardern steht ein Funpark zur Verfügung. Abfahrer erreichen mit zwei Schleppliften verschiedene Pisten für jeden Anspruch. Aber auch Ausflüge in die Umgebung bieten sich an: Schloß Frauenstein (12km), Talsperre Flaje in der Tschechei (12km), Seiffen mit Spielzeugmuseum (17 km), Wintersportzentrum und Sommerrodelbahn Altenberg (21km), Freiberger Dom (29 km), Deutsches Uhrenmuseum Glashütte (36 km).
