Unique group accommodation next to the church in the historic orphanage and the modern orphanage in a beautiful location in the centre of Enkhuizen. Between the two buildings is a large courtyard and from the houses you can walk straight into the shopping street. The accommodation consists of two holiday homes, the historic small orphanage for 14 persons and the modern large orphanage for 18 persons. Small orphanage: At the back of the group accommodation, you enter the bright, cosy, fully equipped kitchen in the sunny courtyard with various vegetable gardens. Here you can sit with all the company you need. The living room is located in the centre of the house, with a cosy sitting corner and a television. The bedroom, bathroom and large hallway with toilet are located at the front of the house. The elegant staircase leads you to the spacious hall and a sleeping loft, which can accommodate 4 people. On the second floor is a bedroom for 8 people with 2 separate bathrooms, each with a shower, sink and toilet. The hall at the front of the house provides access to the terrace overlooking the church and a picturesque shopping street. Large orphange: As you enter the building, follow the stairs up to the upper floor of the home with the comfortable living room with a fine seating area and the modern, fully equipped open-plan kitchen. This floor also houses the bathroom with a shower, washbasin and toilet and a bedroom with a double bed (you can access the bedroom via the bathroom). When you follow the stairs down from the entrance, you will come to the basement with the other bedrooms and the bathroom. There are 4 bedrooms with 2 single beds each, a bedroom with 4 single beds, a bedroom with a double box bed, and a bedroom with a double bed. The bathroom has 3 washbasins and a few lockable areas with showers and toilets. There is a beautiful courtyard with a fine table to sit at, but there is also a seating area at the side of the building. In Enkhuizen you can admire ships in the harbours, walk along countless monuments and canals, and enjoy shopping and fine dining. There's plenty to do just outside the town as well, such as hiking, bicycling and of course sailing. Sprookjeswonderland is a fun day with the kids, or take a trip through time at the Steam Train Museum or visit the Zuiderzee Museum. Enkhuizen is a wonderful destination for young and old and for a short or longer stay! In the neighbouring building is a wonderful space for dinners, workshops or other group activities. The adjacent building also houses the Saet and Cruyt museum. Don't hesitate to call us to discuss the possibilities.
