If you have small children, you can drive by car through the park, whereas on foot it becomes a real adventure. Most animals are harmless: your children can stroke and feed them. Furthermore, everyone can have fun on the big playground. Speed down the 800-meter-long summer toboggan run. Tickets can be bought from the Tourist Guide of Eifel Park. Daun is a half hours drive from Eifel Park and is ideal for families with children. Geocaching is a modern form of treasure hunting. Equipped with a GPS receiver and the corresponding coordinates, you can unearth treasure. First you have to solve some problems and puzzles in different places in "Boven Elztal". There is a total distance of about 8 km. Only the correct answers will provide the proper coordinates and finally lead to the treasure. If you do not own a GPS device then you can borrow one from Eifel Park. The Porta Nigra is an ideal starting point for exploring the city. It is the best preserved Roman city gate north of the Alps - a unique connection between the ancient past and the modern city. The Imperial Baths are the remains of a large Roman bath, which today is an impressive ruin that can be visited. Together with other interesting buildings from the Roman Trier these are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Arrival and departure Upon arrival at the Holiday house, you must present your confirmation document, at which time you will receive an entry card and welcome package. You may enter your Holiday house after 3 pm. On the day of your departure, you must vacate the Holiday house before 10 am, so as to facilitate the cleaning of your Holiday house. You can still use the facilities of the park on the departure day, unless the park will be closed. This small amount is a percentage of the rental sum starting from 10 Euros per reservation.
