Sunny FURNISHED room in 2 bedroom QUIET! RARE!.
MY PLACE IS NOW READY FOR BUSINESS TRAVELERS. HIGH SPEED INTERNET IS STILL HERE, AND I ALSO HAVE A LAPTOP WORK STATION IN THE SPARE ROOM NOW. Hi and nice to meet you! What I'm offering is more like a roommate situation than a B and B situation, but I can offer you sheets, a comforter, towels, and of course the room. I have a really sunny apt in the East Village. It's a two bedroom, so you'll be sharing with me. The room is about 77 sq. ft. 7' x11'. I'm sociable and funny, but I will definitely give you your space. The neighborhood is great, but quiet, and you don't have to walk far to go to some of NYC's best restaurants, bars, and clubs. The F train is close by, it takes 12 minutes to walk there, and the 14D bus almost comes to the front door. This bus comes about every 4 minutes. The M9 and M21 bus are also very close by. The place is a real 2 bedroom with a living area and a real kitchen. I have a washing machine and there is a laundry mat right across the street that will pick up your laundry and do it for you. IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF STUFF IT WON'T BE GOOD, BECAUSE THE APARTMENT IS FURNISHED. I'd like to have someone who is neat, but not neurotic. My old roommate told me that I was a rational person, and I guess I'd like to live with someone who is also that way. I like living here, and you might as well. Here are some pros about the apartment; Super sunny, Real living room, big kitchen, reasonable roommate, washing machine,(but no dryer) locked bike room, quiet, near hot spots, community gardens, and parks, near buses, Here are some cons: 6 floor walk up (but hey free exercise), laundry across the street, but they will pick up and deliver), the f train is 4 blocks away, but several buses almost come to the front door, the apt is semi renovated, but not a dump by any means. $1000 refundable deposit required. This will be refunded as long as no damage has been done. THIS APARTMENT IS A NON SMOKING APARTMENT. Also, please no drugs or drug dealers. This is not a party atmosphere, just a clean, cozy, safe place to stay in a great city. Guest Access- Living Room, Bathroom, Kitchen. Interaction with guest-quite a bit since we will be sharing the apartment, unless you are the type who leaves early in the morning and comes home late at night. The Neighborhood-Very vibrant, and full of lively restaurants, bars, and galleries! However, if you are looking for a completely sterile, totally gentrified environment such as The Upper East Side or TriBeCa this place would not be for you. It is a very gritty, yet safe NYC neighborhood kinda like what NYC used to be like. Getting around-The 14D bus almost comes to the front door and it runs about every 3-4 minutes. Also the M9 bus runs about every 15 minutes and there is also the F train. The M21 bus which goes to Soho and the West Side comes every 1/2 hour. The closes F train entrance is on 1st Ave, and it takes me 12 minutes to walk there. However, I had a roommate who said it took him 7 minutes. I guess you'd have to walk pretty fast and not be in heals, but I guess it can be done. I still would say 12 minutes for most people to get there. Other things to note- Steps away from the Nuyorican Poets Cafe(see movie Pinero, the unabridged version, the abridged version is awful). I REQUIRE ALL GUESTS TO SIGN A CONTRACT WITH ME. I ALSO REQUIRE A PHOTO OF YOUR GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID.
