Attractive, cosy home close to the city centre.
Welcome to our lovingly furnished, bright and, above all, cosy flat in the lively Nordstadt district! It is located on the 3rd floor of our apartment block which is mainly occupied by different generations of our famil and is equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home when you arrive. The flat has a modern fitted kitchen with an extensive range of cookware and crockery, a living/dining room with a table and 4 chairs, a large sofa and a 50-inch Smart TV for cosy evenings as well as a small balcony for relaxing and soaking up the sun with a view of the leafy inner courtyard. The bedroom includes a large double bed (180 x 200 cm), a wardrobe that offers plenty of space, as well as blinds and blackout curtains for a restful night's sleep. If you work from home there is a dedicated office equipped with a desk and plenty of storage space for office supplies. The small interior bathroom has a shower, a towel radiator and a washing machine. Finally, there is a mini storage room in which various household utensils such as an ironing board, hoover etc. are stored. We are located in the Northern district, also known as Nordstadt, a neighbourhood with a multicultural flair that is famous for the Leibniz University of Hanover and its parks and gardens. Situated in a quiet side street off Engelbosteler Damm you will find all amenities such as extensive shopping facilities with shops for your daily needs as well as numerous cafés, cosy pubs and restaurants with international cuisine. Sports and leisure facilities such as bouldering, gyms and cinemas are also within walking distance. The Welfengarten, the green oasis of the Nordstadt, is just a 10-minute walk away from the hustle and bustle and a further 10 minutes' walk takes you to the Georgengarten, which is famous for the Wilhelm Busch Museum. Thanks to the excellent transport connections a car is not necessary in this central location. However, if you do have a car you can park free of charge in our and the surrounding streets. There is a bus stop virtually right outside the door and after about 200 metres you can reach the nearest underground station with lines 6 and 11 which will take you to the city centre in 4 minutes (15 minutes on foot), to the main railway station in 10 minutes or to the exhibition grounds in about 30 minutes. You can also take the underground to Nordstadt station in just a few minutes from where you can reach Hanover Airport in 15 minutes, for example.
