The Jurahouse 1540 - living in a monument.
Welcome to our Jura house in Pförring! Regardless of whether you take a hike in the nature, a bike tour on the Danube or a city trip to Munich, Ingolstadt or Regensburg, within our Jura house and the garden you have the opportunity to relax and find peace. The Jura house is a listed monumental building from the 16th century. The examination of the wooden beams installed in the house showed, that they were felled in 1540/1541. For several generations we have been maintaining the state of this cultural heritage and bringing it up to date technically. In 2019, the flat sloping (25°) roof, which is characteristic of Jura houses and covered with limestone slabs, was renovated in accordance with monument protection guidelines. Pförring is located on the edge of the nature park Altmühltal on the Danube, 20 km from Ingolstadt, 50 km from Regensburg and 80 km from Munich.
