New and beautiful log cabin located on a hill with a beautiful view of Hurdalssjøen. From the terrace with barbecue and outdoor fireplace you can enjoy the view over the wonderful surroundings. The cottage contains a large living and dining room, 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. There is a small loft above the living room if anyone wants to crawl up there and sleep. Waterborne underfloor heating throughout the cottage. Wood burning stove; one sack of firewood is included. If you want more firewood, you need to take care of it yourself. Hurdal offers beautiful fishing lakes, beaches, and skiing opportunities. The lake Hurdalssjøen is right nearby, here you can fish for pike and perch. The beautiful beach Å beach is about 3 km away with a lovely sandy beach, small benches and barbecue area. Hurdalssjøen Hotel has a pool and spa area which can be used by everyone for a fee. Råholt water park is only a 15-minute drive away. Alpaca hiking is also an activity you can take part in in Hurdal, trips of about 2 hours can be arranged for a fee. Lots of berries and mushrooms in the area. The nice farm shop Loftet at Eidsvoll is worth a visit, here you can shop and have lunch in the cozy café. In winter, you will find groomed cross-country trails right by the cottage. 10 km from Hurdal Ski Center with several slopes for both adults and children and a cafe with drinks and snacks. An hour to Oslo by car or train. If you are tempted by a summer trip aboard Skibladner, the world's oldest wheeled steamer in operation, it is just under an hour's drive to the harbor at Hamar, Kapp or Gjøvik. Several cabins are being built in this cabin area in Hurdal, so from time to time there may be some noise. The holiday house is not available for youth groups.
