Around the swimming pool you'll find loungers to enjoy the Mediterranean sun. The small medieval village of Eze ( between Nice and Monaco) is located on top of a hill (429 m above sea level) and offers a truly spectacular view of the Mediterranean and the surroundings. If the weather's bright, you can even see Corsica. Because of its special location on top of the mountain, Eze is also called the eagle's nest. The picturesque village features a characteristic church, many narrow alleys, steep streets and many stairs. Èze truly is a gem on the Côte d’Azur. From the house you can walk straight to the forest, using the path "chemin de Michel", which ends at the Plateau de Justice, with its spectacular view of the bays of St. Jean Cap Ferrat, Nice, Antibes and Saint Tropez. Lastly a tip for sports enthusiasts who are not afraid of some adventure: the Nietzsche path! If you have the necessary physical condition and good hiking shoes, a visit to Eze over the Nietzsche path is a nice challenge. This boulder path will bring you from sea level to the village of Eze, at the altitude of 429. The path was discovered by Friedrich Nietzsche. This German philosopher liked adventure. The beautiful views and the nice drink afterwards will make it all worthwile!
