The medieval town of Bayeux is 20 km from the house and a visit to the Caen monument, castle and lively town, 40 minutes from the accommodation, is also worthwhile. The property is located in a region with fantastic gastronomy, characterised by fresh seafood, French cheeses, cider, butter, cream and caramel. You will also find plenty of picturesque fishing ports, such as that of Saint-Vaast-La-Hougue. The seventh wonder of the world, Mont Saint-Michel, a protected monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an hour and a half's drive away.
