Are you looking for something different? Something unique and typically French? In a small, cute village by the Tarn river? Then you've come to the right place! Here you can relax and enjoy a wonderful holiday in a small, pleasant village where time moves slowly through the seasons. You can go sunbathing and swimming near the house, at a small beach, or at one of the many other (sandy) beaches along the river. The holiday home is situated in an idyllic location on a cliff, at the edge of picturesque Castelbouc (St. Emilie), a quiet, but also lively, low-traffic village by the Tarn river. The central point of the village is the small square with bread/pizza oven. The house is located on a quiet walking path. This is the walking path to the village or to the next village. There's no TV or internet in the house, so can enjoy the gorgeous French life without any distraction. The house consists of two floors. You enter into the simple, but pleasant living room with seating area, fireplace, open plan kitchen and dining room. Upstairs, there's one spacious room with a double bed and a bunk bed. From here, you also have a beautiful view of the river. The house features a separate, private terrace, which can be reached by a staircase (5 metres next to the door), across the walking path next to the house. On the terrace you can enjoy full privacy and nobody can see you. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the river and the gorge. During the summer, you can get bread in the morning at the campsite near the bridge or in Blajoux, a small village 2 km away. The village of At. Emilie is about 7 km away and is the ideal place to enjoy restaurants and outdoor cafes. The area has something to offer for everyone. There are plenty of hiking trails, including trails that start directly from the house. There also are endless possibilities for cycling, kayaking, but also for enjoying other sports like speleology, canyoning, rock climbing, horse riding, etc. This is also a good location for cultural trips. In the area, you'll find the beautiful caves of 'Grotte De Dargilan’, ‘Aven Armand’ or ‘Abime de Bramabiau’, but also many interesting sights like dolmens and menhirs, the Mont Lozere and Mont Aigoual, the bison park, the wolf park of Gevaudan, and so much more... You can park on the small road and then walk into the village (250 metres). This is where the villagers also park their cars. PLEASE NOTE! You'll have to clean the house and take care of the final cleaning yourself at the end of your stay. The house needs to be left clean and tidy for the next guests.
