The cabin has a fiber connection. The municipality of Munkedal has very varied natural areas worth visiting, everything from sea and fjord environments to deep forests with lakes and rivers. From Kaserna's canoe centre, an approx. 4 mile long paddling trail runs through lakes and waterways, a great opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the surrounding area. From the cottage you can also easily reach other municipalities and excursion destinations worth visiting, e.g. take the local road past Saltkällan, Skredsvik, Rotviksbro stop at "Två Fröknar" which is a cozy shop with both interior design and clothes. Next door is the restaurant Stallgården, which also sells organic produce in the shop "Stallgården's Pantry". Then continue with some shopping at Torp Köpcentrum or why not a visit to Bohusläns Museum. Hedekas is located on the edge of Kynnefjäll, which is an approximately two mile long and one mile wide high plateau in northern Bohuslän. The plateau stretches between the Bullaresjöarna rift valley in the west and the Örekilsälven valley in the east, with Kornsjöarna as the northern outpost on the border with Norway. The topography of the area has meant that species that are otherwise more common further north in the country thrive here. Örekilsälven, which is also a popular river for salmon fishing, where many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. It is 1.6 km to Linanäs, where there is a mini life, guest harbor and restaurants. In the north of Ljusterö, about 1 mile, is Ljusterö square with grocery store, restaurants, post office agent, system company, pharmacy and more. About 7.5 km to Ljusterö Golf with an 18-hole course. About 1 km to the sports ground with soccer field, tennis courts, padel court, outdoor gym, boules court, table tennis, mini tennis, agility course. In northern Ljusterö/Östra Lagnö there is an incredibly beautiful nature reserve with smooth rocks from the Stone Age towards the outer parts of the archipelago. From the ferry stop on the mainland side, you can take a boat to various excursion destinations in the wonderful archipelago. Bicycles can be taken on the boat.
