In Linanäs there are two restaurants, a guest harbor and a grocery store on the pier. The steamer S/S Storskär also docks here on weekday evenings and also other Waxholm boats. In the north of Ljusterö/Östra Lagnö there is an incredibly beautiful nature reserve with smooth rocks from the Stone Age that face the outer parts of the archipelago. Close to Norrtälje, which is a wonderful summer town. Wira bruk is located near the ferry stop on the mainland. 18-hole golf course, a sports field with outdoor gym, tennis courts, paddle, boules. Certain boat lines with Waxholmsbolaget also depart from Åsättra jetty, including to Nässlingen, Husarö and Möja. You can go to the house by car or bus. The bus runs from Danderyd hospital to Ljusterö. There is a road ferry from the mainland to the island and it runs every 10 minutes in the summer, the crossing takes 10 minutes.
