Welcome to a charming house from 1913 located in Dalarna north of Avesta, an idyll with scenic surroundings. The cottage is tastefully furnished to a good standard and has a fantastic well-kept garden with a patio for the sweet summer evenings. Here there is room for socializing, enjoying your time off and getting the opportunity to discover Dalarna from where you are. The cottage has two floors, on the ground floor there is a kitchen with a wood stove, in the room next to it is the dining room and a living room with a stove in which you can make a fire, there is also an extra bed placed, a small toilet with WC and sink. The stairs lead you up to a smaller family room with a seating area and TV. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one room with two single beds. Wifi is available. Out in the yard is the smaller annex of 10m2, here there is a single bed, shower and washing machine for those who wish. 3.5 kilometers away is Horndal's beach, which is family-friendly with a jetty and long shallows. Here you can fish, swim, canoe or just sit on the rocks and enjoy the sunset. All kinds of activities are organized here during high season for both children and adults, for example music quizzes, bingo, crayfish disc and live music. In the village there is an Ica grocery store, pharmacy, gas station, pizzeria, Berta's restaurant, flea market and market garden. Dalarna is a fantastic landscape with its historic red-painted quarters and the rural countryside. There is much to discover here for the whole family. Carl Larsson's colorful home in Sundborn is a popular destination and a source of inspiration. The farm is shown every day and visitors learn more about the world-famous artist couple, art, love and their noisy life. At the Carl Larsson farm there is also a shop with design directly from the farm. Tips on what you can do about nearby excursion destinations such as Stjärnsund, which is very nice, Högbo Bruk in Sandviken (Avesta with the old village, Avesta Art/Verket, Avesta Visentpark, Hedemora with a building maintenance shop and café. If you want to swim in the sea, you can go to Gävle, Rullsand sea bath Central Sweden's Riviera, the beaches are several kilometers long and are part of the Billudden nature reserve which is very well visited all year round. For those of you who want to see moose a little closer, then you must not miss Långshyttan's Moose Park, it takes approx. 40 minutes by car and worth a visit. There is a wide range of summer activities in the form of fishing, swimming, hiking trails, bike trails and much more.
