And it is possible here. The coast off the Butjadingen peninsula forms part of the immense Niedersächsisches Wattenmeer National Park. This is 2,800 square kilometers in size and runs along the Wadden Sea from the border with the Netherlands to the Danish border. If it is low tide, Ralf will take you on a trip through the wadden. In this way you will make an unforgettable journey on 'the bottom of the sea'. A trip through the Wadden Sea takes two hours. Expect your kids to go home muddy but tired and happy. Because you might spot seals along the way. Butjadingen is ideal for long bike rides. You can rent bicycles at the Briesenick-Radde rental company, right next to Center Parcs Nordseeküste. Pass by small but nice places like Jericho, Niens and Langwarden back to Center Parcs Nordseeküste in Tossens. Breathe in and out well on the way. The air on the German Nordseeküste is of excellent quality. In the 19th century, Tossens was a popular spa town for Berliners with asthma for good reason. They came to enjoy the healthy, wholesome sea air. Captain Dieter has only one mission: to show you the natural beauty of the Wadden Sea. With his ship the Wega II you sail from the old fishing port Fedderwardersiel towards the open sea. What follows is an exciting journey to the seals' whereabouts in the Wadden Sea. Fedderwardersiel is 10 km from Center Parcs Nordseeküste. Ideal for young and old. Cycle part of the Siel route and discover the diversity of the Butjadinger landscape. One moment you cycle among the grazing sheep, the other moment between romantic farms with thatched roofs. And there is water everywhere. It is not for nothing that the route is called Sielroute or Kanalenroute. After all, Butjadingen is split through by drainage channels.
