A cozy accommodation in beautiful surroundings in a rural setting near Arkösund, the cottage was built in the 19th century and has a fantastic cozy factor with a fireplace located in the middle of the house. Nicely decorated according to the charm of the croft and a lovely garden with several patios and garden furniture for those who want to enjoy beautiful summer days. Large plot with two houses on an area of 45 m2, main building and annex with a total of five beds, a tiled room with sink and WC (Mulltoa). Open floor plan with everything in one such as kitchen, living room, fireplace, bedroom with double bed 140 cm and a dining area for four people. The kitchen has everything to prepare a good dinner and the outdoor kitchen has running water. The cottage is very well planned in detail and has a hipped roof with beams that create a bright and pleasant feeling. A small TV screen placed next to the stove next to the bed with Chromecast. Outside the house there is a large terrace as an extra room during the summer, a site-built pavilion and dining area. Up on the mountain with a fantastic view is another terrace with sun exposure all day. Outdoor shower at the back that is heated by solar cells. Wifi is available. The nearest bathing place is Hålviken, which is 2 kilometers from the croft, there are good bathing spots in Arkösund and down by the harbor the boating life is in full swing, here there are also nice wholesale houses with gazebos and nice punch verandas to view. Hike out to the viewpoint Badholmarna, which is right next to the harbor, where you can enjoy a dip from the bathing rocks, and why not buy a good ice cream or smoked fish along the way. There are sandy beaches, bathing docks, camping, restaurants and hotels with good food and drink. In summer, entertainment is offered in the form of music and theatre. For adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts, kayaking is popular, many want to try their luck at fishing and there are plenty of fish. Fishing with hand gear is free, but don't forget to check which fishing rules apply. Not far from the house is Sänkdalen's farm with home-made ice cream, enjoy the country, the cows and eat a really tasty ice cream. June-August, the Zara Leander Museum is open and the popular Waffle Hut next door. From June to August, you can also book a boat trip with the archipelago line that runs between Arkösund and Harstena, and don't miss that you can book RIB boats, play mini golf and much more. Söderköping 45 km away is a charming small-town idyll with the Göta canal running through the city, surrounded by old buildings, shopping, cultural monuments and restaurants along the harbor. Kolmården The largest zoo in the Nordics is located north of Norrköping, experience the animals, teddy bear land, world-unique safari and try Europe's coolest roller coaster. If you want to go on other adventures and discover the big city of Norrköping, it takes about 45 minutes by car. Art and culture are a big part of Norrköping. In the heart of Norrköping lies Knäpingsborg with ancient buildings and its cozy restaurants, bars, cafes and lots of shopping. There are many old industrial buildings that have been preserved and the stream that flows through the city. Bring wood if you wish to make a fire in the open fireplace.
