This chalet is part of a park that is teeming with life, where peace, space and true hospitality are spelled with capital letters. The park is situated on a mound near a large recreational lake with a separate beach. A sophisticated place, situated between the rugged Peel and the beautiful Meuse, close to Germany and Belgium. During the summer months and school holidays there is a recreation team present that organizes numerous activities, no matter the weather. - The new central building (May 2011) contains a reception desk with tourist information; the Lounge Café with a spacious outdoor terrace; a wellness area with sauna and steam room; a relaxation area; and a garden with sun beds. The large garden is surrounded by vegetation which provides adequate privacy. In the central building there is a laundry facility and bicycle rental service. - This Scandinavian-style detached chalet is nicely decorated. You have a front and back garden and two parking spaces at your disposal. - The park is easily accessible, even by air! Ryanair Airport Düsseldorf / Weeze is located only 15 km away. Of course the older guests have not been left out either. Furthermore, bikes and karts are available for rent. Use of the pedal boats and tennis courts is free. The staff of the reception desk is more than happy to provide you with tips for a day out or suggestions for a good restaurant in the vicinity. – FURTHER AWAY: Cosy Maas villages, alternating with strawberries, asparagus fields and plant nurseries. That's the Meuse valley in the west. On the other side, towards Germany, you’ll find a large forest and moorland known as the “De Maasduinen” National Park. – A bike ride to Germany is always a wonderful journey, through ancient villages and a fantastic natural environment. - In the other direction you will encounter the National Park of “De Groote Peel”. - Closer to home, on the north side of Oostrum lies the sprawling sanctuary of “Geijsteren Estate”. In short, nature in abundance! - A few kilometers from the provincial town of Oostrum lies the town of Venray, with a wide range of shops, a food court, theater and cinema. Shop until you drop in the new outlet center or in the old town of Roermond. Sophisticated shopping can also be done in Maastricht and Dusseldorf. - There are a surprising number of bicycle and hiking routes that lead in all four directions. - BY CAR: Indoor playgrounds can be found in Venlo, Deurne, Sevenum and Panningen.
