In this high and beautifully situated small cabin in the middle of nature, you can stay at any time of the year. Whatever the season, the view from the house and the embedded large balcony offers a fantastic view over both a pond, fields and forest. Along the winding dirt road up towards the cottage, you pass the mill with its 1,000-year history. The waterways all around, which supplied the mill wheel with power to grind flour, are today a well-visited excursion destination. The newly renovated house consists of a larger room with exposed ceiling beams for lots of space and light. There are 2 daybeds with a total of 4 beds to be able to both sit and watch TV and sleep in. Table with chairs for meals and a stove to fire on the slightly cooler days. The kitchen area at the back of the house has all the possibilities for self-catering. From here there is a patio door out onto the large wooden deck which has sun loungers, a charcoal grill and outdoor furniture to sit and enjoy both the sunrise and sunset. Spacious bathroom also new and fresh inside the well-preserved and renovated original door from before. The Siggaboda nature reserve and Åsnen national park also have popular hiking trails to explore in the immediate area. A magical place to visit is the Black Mountains which is the world's largest diabase quarry and still in use. There is a museum, sculptures and a restaurant here. For those interested in furniture, the IKEA museum is not far from here and there is also a department store in the founder's hometown of Älmhult. Another spectacular excursion destination is the Car Cemetery Kyrkö mosse, which consists of more than 100 old car wrecks left to nature. In the area, there are many lakes to both take a cooling dip in and buy a fishing license for great fishing luck. Kuppersjön's bathing area and Norraryd's campsite, about 1 mile away.
