This delightful holiday home is located by Hunneberg on Vargön. It is a cottage set next to one of Sweden's most well-maintained rectories. Carl Von Linné stayed there in 1746. The scenic environment is perfect for long walks or bicycle rides. It was carefully renovated in 2015. Care has been taken to keep the old look and atmosphere. Bicycles can be rented for 100 sek per week and bicycle. There are four available. The holiday home features four bedrooms, two on the bottom floor and two on the upper floor. A total of eight beds are available. Each floor has a bathroom with a shower and a WC The entrance of the house is through the veranda. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated and bright. The kitchen features an electric cooker as well as a wood burning stove. There is also a lodge next door, suitable for dinner parties. The holiday home is situated in Västra Tunhem, by the foot of Hunneberg, which is between the towns of Trollhättan and Vänersborg. In Trollhättan you can visit the SAAB-museum and the waterfall. Vänersborg is a charming little town with a museum and an indoor waterpark. Hunneberg has a unique flora and fauna, and is also known for it's elks.There are walking paths, bicycle routes and fishing opportunities. Don't forget to buy a fishing permit! It's a short one-hour drive to Gothenburg, with it's populat funfair Liseberg. Another destination for a daytrip is Skara with it's outdoor waterpark Skara Sommarland. The possibilities are endless!
