In the middle of the Sörmland landscape in Vrena, Nyköping municipality, just a little bit from Lake Yngaren, lies this renovated old 19th century house. A large plot with lawn surrounds the house. Here is room for outdoor activities and lazy days in the shade of the large willow tree at the back of the house where there is a solid outdoor furniture and a barbecue. The house has a small entrance with space to hang clothes and further into the house there is a kitchen with dining area and an old iron stove which is advantageously fired in during a little cooler days. Wood can buy from the owner. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa which at night turns into a 140 cm sleeping area. TV and a couple of armchairs. A steep attic staircase leads up to the bright sleeping loft which is furnished with a single bed on one side and a double bed towards the other end, not separated by a wall. The bathroom is adjacent to the entrance. When the weather allows, there is a lovely bathing place about 300 m from the house called Harhålet. A very well maintained swimming area with barbecue facilities and swimming from sandy beach. Around Yngaren there are several bathing coves with smaller cliffs for those who are looking for more privacy. For those who like the lake but do not want to get wet, a rowing boat is included in the rent. The angler has a rich sea life where you fish everything from pike to whitefish and lake. Fishing license is required and can be purchased online or at, among others, the Tourist Office in Nyköping. In Sörmland there are many estates and manors, some offer guided tours and others you can admire from a distance. There are excellent cycle paths around Yngaren and is a great alternative when you want to discover the surroundings. Sörmlandsleden is nearby and offers wonderful hikes.
