Boat trips to the car-free islands of Ouessant and Molène are available from the pretty port town of Le Conquet. Dolphins often accompany the crossing. You can rent bikes on the islands to explore. Be sure to pack a picnic basket and binoculars for this excursion. The westernmost point of the coast is the Pointe St. Mathieu with a lighthouse and an impressive cliff. Die beiden, ineinander übergehenden Bauten befinden sich auf einem geschlossenen Gartengrundstück mit einem gemauertem Grillplatz, einer großen Wiese und Obstbäumen. Badeort mit kleinem Fischerei- und Yachthafen. Liebhaber einer rauen, herben Landschaft sind in diesem Teil der Bretagne genau richtig, das Pays des Abers ist ein dünn besiedeltes Land. Sogar die andernorts so beeindruckende Küste geht hier flach ins Meer über – mit einer Ausnahme: Die Pointe de Corsen fällt etwas weiter im Süden fünfzig Meter steil zum Ozean hin ab. In der kleinen Gemeinde finden das ganze Jahr über verschiedene Feste statt, z. B. die Jazz-Nacht im April, das Festival des Petites Folies im Mai und das Musikfest im Juni, um nur einige zu nennen.
