The winery also provides a secure bicycle parking area, ideal for families who would like to explore the surrounding area by bike. There are many excursion destinations nearby: Freiburg, Basel, Strasbourg, the Black Forest open-air museum, Germany's highest waterfalls in Triberg, Europapark, the Mundenhof animal and nature adventure park in Freiburg, the stalactite cave in Hasel, the Black Forest Zoo in Waldkirch and the wildlife park.
