The living room
A beautifully designed large and spacious living room with lots of natural ambient light since it is surrounded by windows on all sides of the room, stone custom-made couches, a fully functional fireplace, wooden and stone floors with its own dining table just under the wooden attic. It has a very high wooden ceiling perfect for offering relaxing senses of openness, calmness, and absolute quality. Extra beds can be placed here on request if your group consists of more than four people. Air condition installed!
The Bedrooms
The master bedroom with its queen-sized bed is located right next to the front 25 sq.m. veranda and its large side window doors offer direct access to the view to the front part of the house. It is beautifully decorated with handmade embroideries and we offer for your stay fresh and clean linens. The Master bedroom is airconditioned
The second bedroom is located on the wood attic of the house in the living room. It’s a floor queen-sized bed for two people. From that position, you have a top view of the large and spacious living room, lots of natural light from the surrounding windows, and quiet restful sleep. A window offers unique views day and night at the beaches of Akrotiri and the rough -dry but at the same time green- unique Cretan landscape. You will be able to observe from the coziness of your bed, sheep, and goats playing at the trees and the night starry sky while you read a book at this cozy playful corner.
The Kitchen
Right next to the large living room there is an amazing kitchen with all brand new, clean appliances, perfect wooden surfaces, stone floors, and all the equipment you will need for preparing any meal you feel like. The view from the large window at the mountain of Stavros and the endless groves and fields will keep you relaxed and calm while you prepare your own delicacies! A veranda is there for you to enjoy your breakfasts and morning coffee with a great view to the backside of the house
The verandas
House is surrounded by large yards, gardens, and Mediterranean trees groves. There are two verandas. A 25 sq.m. at the front of the house and a smaller one next to the Kitchen, each one offering a different experience depending on the time of the day.
The back veranda which is located right next to the Kitchen offers a unique panoramic view of the legendary mountain of Stavros where the movie “Zorbas the Greek” was shot from the book of the great Nikos Kazantzakis. From there you can enjoy your breakfasts or morning coffees or at night stay mesmerized by the quietness of the location, the silence of which only breaks the summer sounds of the Cretan habitat.
The views of the rising full moon from behind the Stavros mountain will stay imprinted forever in your minds.
The same level of excitement but a totally unique and distinct experience is ‘reserved’ for your early mornings. The sunrises paint the whole landscape in purplish orange colors and the morning bird sounds will prepare you for perfect day trips to the surrounding world-famous beaches of the Akrotiri region, which are all located at some minutes of distance from our strategically positioned beautiful cottage!
The front 25 sq.m. veranda is surrounded by flowers and plants and a beautiful garden. On the top, there is a wooden pergola where thick climbing plants will give you great shades during the day and fragrances of the Cretan plants during the night. It has a large marble custom made table, beautiful views and it is a great spot for relaxation spending quality time after your long tiring day trips to the surrounding beaches of Akrotiri
Around the house, there are all kinds of flowers and trees and unique Cretan herbs and plants guaranteed to enrich your senses with beautiful fragrances day and night. There is also an outdoor seating area with a large wooden table and benches right next to the large barbecue and wood oven for your grilled meals at the side of the house right next to our olive groves!
Our home is located in one of the most sought-after areas of Chania. At the Akrotiri peninsula. We are at one of the most relaxing, quiet, and with great views areas of Chania, at Spiliokefala region, near Chorafakia.
Akrotiri is a place for nature lovers, with interesting walking and hiking paths through the unspoiled gorges with amazing diversity, natural beauty, and living traditions. With picturesque sandy beaches, all awarded with the Blue Flag, century-old monasteries, and churches, impressive caves with rich lithological and archaeological interest, historical monuments, Akrotiri attracts many visitors every year, who enjoy Cretan hospitality and nature at their best.
You will find some unique spots to enjoy the gift of the gods, our Sun and Sea. In the vicinity, there is the famous from the movie 'Zorba the Greek', Stavros beach and the mountain with its infamous cave. Also nearby there are the gorgeous beaches of Kalathas, Marathi, Loutraki, Machairida, Tersanas, Seitan Limania, and much more.
If you want to further explore the area, drive to reach the monastery of Agia Triada of Tzagarolon and continue to Gouverneto Monastery, where the road ends. Then you will have to walk downhill on a steep paved trail to the cave of the Virgin of Arkoudiotissa and the abandoned Katholiko.
Numerous caves can be found here, with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites sometimes with amazing shapes. Findings of archaeological and historical interest prove that the caves were used as a place of worship as well as a refuge from the invasions of pirates.
Just a couple of km away you will find the Tampakaria region which we suggest you visit. There you will find the historical district of Chalepa with the mansions of the 19th and 20th century, some amazing routes to follow parallel to the seashore, and some of the greatest taverns and cafes of the city. At the aristocratic district of Chalepa, you can find the palace of former Prince George and the house of Eleftherios Venizelos that today hosts the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, with his statue placed in the homonymous square, the French School (1860), the Russian church of Agia Magdalini and the church of Evangelistria.
The Venetian harbor of the old city of Chania with its scenic centuries-old lighthouse is located at just 10 km of distance from our home.

Odtud si můžete vychutnat snídani nebo ranní kávu nebo v noci zůstat uchváceni klidem místa, jehož ticho jen přerušuje letní zvuky krétského prostředí.

Die sehr hohe Holzdecke vermittelt ein entspannendes Gefühl von Offenheit, Ruhe und absoluter Qualität. Die Schlafzimmer
Das Hauptschlafzimmer mit seinem Queensize-Bett befindet sich direkt neben dem 25 m² großen Hauptschlafzimmer. Die Veranda und ihre großen seitlichen Fenstertüren bieten direkten Zugang zum Blick auf den vorderen Teil des Hauses. Es ist wunderschön mit handgefertigten Stickereien dekoriert und wir bieten für Ihren Aufenthalt frische und saubere Bettwäsche. Das Hauptschlafzimmer ist klimatisiert
Das zweite Schlafzimmer befindet sich auf dem Holzdachboden des Hauses im Wohnzimmer. Es handelt sich um ein Queensize-Bett auf dem Boden für zwei Personen. Von dieser Position aus haben Sie einen tollen Ausblick auf das große und geräumige Wohnzimmer, viel natürliches Licht durch die umliegenden Fenster und einen ruhigen, erholsamen Schlaf. Ein Fenster bietet Tag und Nacht einzigartige Ausblicke auf die Strände von Akrotiri und die raue, trockene, aber gleichzeitig grüne, einzigartige kretische Landschaft. Die Veranden
Das Haus ist von großen Höfen, Gärten und mediterranen Baumhainen umgeben. Es gibt zwei Veranden. Ein 25 qm großes. an der Vorderseite des Hauses und ein kleineres neben der Küche, die je nach Tageszeit ein anderes Erlebnis bieten.
Die hintere Veranda, die sich direkt neben der Küche befindet, bietet einen einzigartigen Panoramablick auf den legendären Berg Stavros, wo der Film „Zorbas der Grieche“ nach dem Buch des großen Nikos Kazantzakis gedreht wurde. Von dort aus können Sie Ihr Frühstück oder Ihren Morgenkaffee genießen oder sich nachts von der Ruhe des Ortes verzaubern lassen, dessen Stille nur die Sommergeräusche des kretischen Lebensraums unterbricht.
Die Aussicht auf den aufgehenden Vollmond hinter dem Stavros-Gebirge wird Ihnen für immer in Erinnerung bleiben.

La sala de estar
Una sala de estar grande y espaciosa bellamente diseñada con mucha luz ambiental natural ya que está rodeada de ventanas en todos los lados de la habitación, sofás de piedra hechos a medida, una chimenea completamente funcional, pisos de madera y piedra con su propia mesa de comedor justo debajo de la ático de madera. Tiene un techo de madera muy alto perfecto para ofrecer relajantes sensaciones de apertura, tranquilidad y calidad absoluta. Se pueden colocar camas supletorias aquí bajo petición si su grupo está formado por más de cuatro personas. ¡Aire acondicionado instalado!
Los dormitorios
El dormitorio principal con su cama de matrimonio se encuentra justo al lado de la fachada de 25 metros cuadrados. La terraza y sus grandes ventanas laterales ofrecen acceso directo a la vista de la parte delantera de la casa. Está bellamente decorado con bordados hechos a mano y ofrecemos para su estadía ropa de cama fresca y limpia. El dormitorio principal tiene aire acondicionado.
El segundo dormitorio se encuentra en el ático de madera de la casa, en el salón. Es una cama tamaño queen en el piso para dos personas. Desde esa posición, tiene una vista superior de la sala de estar grande y espaciosa, mucha luz natural proveniente de las ventanas circundantes y un sueño tranquilo y reparador. Una ventana ofrece vistas únicas de día y de noche de las playas de Akrotiri y del paisaje cretense áspero, seco pero al mismo tiempo verde, único. Podrás observar desde la comodidad de tu cama, las ovejas y cabras jugando en los árboles y el cielo estrellado de la noche mientras lees un libro en este acogedor rincón lúdico.
La cocina
Justo al lado de la gran sala de estar hay una cocina increíble con todos los electrodomésticos limpios y nuevos, superficies de madera perfectas, pisos de piedra y todo el equipo que necesitará para preparar cualquier comida que desee. ¡La vista desde el gran ventanal a la montaña de Stavros y las interminables arboledas y campos te mantendrán relajado y tranquilo mientras preparas tus propias delicias! Hay una terraza para que disfrutes de tus desayunos y café de la mañana con una excelente vista a la parte trasera de la casa.

La casa está rodeada de amplios patios, jardines y arboledas mediterráneas. Hay dos terrazas. Un 25 metros cuadrados. al frente de la casa y uno más pequeño al lado de la Cocina, cada uno ofreciendo una experiencia diferente según el momento del día.
La terraza trasera, situada justo al lado de la cocina, ofrece una vista panorámica única de la legendaria montaña Stavros, donde se rodó la película "Zorbas el griego" del libro del gran Nikos Kazantzakis. Desde allí podrá disfrutar de sus desayunos o cafés de la mañana o quedarse hipnotizado por la noche por la tranquilidad del lugar, cuyo silencio sólo rompe los sonidos veraniegos del hábitat cretense.
Las vistas de la luna llena naciente desde detrás de la montaña Stavros quedarán grabadas para siempre en tu mente.

El frente de 25 metros cuadrados. La terraza está rodeada de flores y plantas y de un hermoso jardín. En la parte superior hay una pérgola de madera donde espesas plantas trepadoras te darán fantásticas sombras durante el día y fragancias de las plantas cretenses durante la noche. Tiene una gran mesa de mármol hecha a medida, hermosas vistas y es un excelente lugar para relajarse y pasar tiempo de calidad después de sus largas y agotadoras excursiones de un día a las playas circundantes de Akrotiri.

Un grand et spacieux salon magnifiquement conçu avec beaucoup de lumière ambiante naturelle puisqu'il est entouré de fenêtres de tous les côtés de la pièce, de canapés en pierre sur mesure, d'une cheminée entièrement fonctionnelle, de sols en bois et en pierre avec sa propre table à manger juste sous le grenier en bois. Il possède un très haut plafond en bois, parfait pour offrir des sensations relaxantes d'ouverture, de calme et de qualité absolue. Des lits supplémentaires peuvent être placés ici sur demande si votre groupe est composé de plus de quatre personnes. Climatisation installée !
Les chambres à coucher
La chambre principale avec son lit queen size est située juste à côté de la façade de 25 m². la véranda et ses grandes portes fenêtres latérales offrent un accès direct à la vue sur la partie avant de la maison. Il est joliment décoré de broderies faites à la main et nous proposons pour votre séjour des draps frais et propres. La chambre principale est climatisée

O quarto principal com cama queen size está localizado ao lado da frente de 25 m². varanda e suas grandes janelas laterais oferecem acesso direto à vista da parte frontal da casa. The living room
A beautifully designed large and spacious living room with lots of natural ambient light since it is surrounded by windows on all sides of the room, stone custom-made couches, a fully functional fireplace, wooden and stone floors with its own dining table just under the wooden attic. It has a very high wooden ceiling perfect for offering relaxing senses of openness, calmness, and absolute quality. Extra beds can be placed here on request if your group consists of more than four people. Air condition installed!
The Bedrooms
The master bedroom with its queen-sized bed is located right next to the front 25 sq.m. veranda and its large side window doors offer direct access to the view to the front part of the house. It is beautifully decorated with handmade embroideries and we offer for your stay fresh and clean linens. The Master bedroom is airconditioned
The second bedroom is located on the wood attic of the house in the living room. It’s a floor queen-sized bed for two people. From that position, you have a top view of the large and spacious living room, lots of natural light from the surrounding windows, and quiet restful sleep. A window offers unique views day and night at the beaches of Akrotiri and the rough -dry but at the same time green- unique Cretan landscape. You will be able to observe from the coziness of your bed, sheep, and goats playing at the trees and the night starry sky while you read a book at this cozy playful corner.
The Kitchen
Right next to the large living room there is an amazing kitchen with all brand new, clean appliances, perfect wooden surfaces, stone floors, and all the equipment you will need for preparing any meal you feel like. The view from the large window at the mountain of Stavros and the endless groves and fields will keep you relaxed and calm while you prepare your own delicacies! A veranda is there for you to enjoy your breakfasts and morning coffee with a great view to the backside of the house
The verandas
House is surrounded by large yards, gardens, and Mediterranean trees groves. There are two verandas. A 25 sq.m. at the front of the house and a smaller one next to the Kitchen, each one offering a different experience depending on the time of the day.
The back veranda which is located right next to the Kitchen offers a unique panoramic view of the legendary mountain of Stavros where the movie “Zorbas the Greek” was shot from the book of the great Nikos Kazantzakis. From there you can enjoy your breakfasts or morning coffees or at night stay mesmerized by the quietness of the location, the silence of which only breaks the summer sounds of the Cretan habitat.
The views of the rising full moon from behind the Stavros mountain will stay imprinted forever in your minds.

Our home is located in one of the most sought-after areas of Chania. At the Akrotiri peninsula. We are at one of the most relaxing, quiet, and with great views areas of Chania, at Spiliokefala region, near Chorafakia.
Akrotiri is a place for nature lovers, with interesting walking and hiking paths through the unspoiled gorges with amazing diversity, natural beauty, and living traditions. With picturesque sandy beaches, all awarded with the Blue Flag, century-old monasteries, and churches, impressive caves with rich lithological and archaeological interest, historical monuments, Akrotiri attracts many visitors every year, who enjoy Cretan hospitality and nature at their best.
You will find some unique spots to enjoy the gift of the gods, our Sun and Sea. In the vicinity, there is the famous from the movie 'Zorba the Greek', Stavros beach and the mountain with its infamous cave. Also nearby there are the gorgeous beaches of Kalathas, Marathi, Loutraki, Machairida, Tersanas, Seitan Limania, and much more.
If you want to further explore the area, drive to reach the monastery of Agia Triada of Tzagarolon and continue to Gouverneto Monastery, where the road ends. Then you will have to walk downhill on a steep paved trail to the cave of the Virgin of Arkoudiotissa and the abandoned Katholiko.
Numerous caves can be found here, with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites sometimes with amazing shapes. Findings of archaeological and historical interest prove that the caves were used as a place of worship as well as a refuge from the invasions of pirates.
Just a couple of km away you will find the Tampakaria region which we suggest you visit. There you will find the historical district of Chalepa with the mansions of the 19th and 20th century, some amazing routes to follow parallel to the seashore, and some of the greatest taverns and cafes of the city. At the aristocratic district of Chalepa, you can find the palace of former Prince George and the house of Eleftherios Venizelos that today hosts the National Research Foundation “Eleftherios K. Venizelos”, with his statue placed in the homonymous square, the French School (1860), the Russian church of Agia Magdalini and the church of Evangelistria.
The Venetian harbor of the old city of Chania with its scenic centuries-old lighthouse is located at just 10 km of distance from our home.
