Il suo grande lago artificiale,denominato Lago delle Nazioni, è l'anima sportiva della costa. Il bacino salmastro, risultato di opere idrauliche, hauna superficie di un centinaio di ettari, dove vivono anguille e cefali. La vegetazione è costituita da giunchi, cannucce palustri, piante officinali, mentre la fauna è caratterizzata da folaghe, tuffetti e martin pescatori.
