Het staat bekend om zijn indrukwekkende middeleeuwse kasteel, dat werd gebouwd als verdediging tegen piraten en is een van de best bewaarde op het eiland. Vanaf de muren kunt u genieten van een adembenemend uitzicht op de kust en het dorp. De stad staat ook bekend om zijn festivals en beurzen. Een van de populairste is de middeleeuwse kermis, die in mei wordt gehouden en waar de middeleeuwen worden nagebootst met zwaardgevechten, muziek- en dansvoorstellingen en eet- en handwerkkraampjes. In augustus wordt een ander belangrijk festival in het kasteel gehouden. Dit is het Fiesta de la Luna Llena (Volle Maan Festival), waar u kunt genieten van vuurwerkshows. Capdepera heeft ook indrukwekkende stranden, zoals het strand van Cala Mesquida, dat wordt omgeven door duinen en dennenbossen.
