The cottage is located on a sunny mountain plateau as the last cottage on the street, surrounded by a nice little garden and large free granite surfaces facing the sea. On the inside, you are met by a small hall, which leads further into the cabin's large open floor plan with large windows from both the living room, dining area and kitchen. In the living room there is comfortable seating, fireplace and TV corner, next to this there is a nice dining area and kitchen island and kitchen equipped with stove, separate oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, dishwasher and washing machine. Bathroom with shower, three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and one with a bunk bed. From both the living room and the kitchen there are doors out to the cottage's balcony areas with summer furniture and a barbecue where you can grill a good piece of food and discuss the day's adventures or plan for new ones. Bovallstrand is a nice old fishing village and with its location right by the sea, salt bathing becomes a given activity and here are also the famous bathing islets which are one of Bohuslän's finest bathing spots suitable for both swimming and fishing. In the buildings, much has been preserved from when shipping, fishing and stone-cutting flourished, which gave Bovallstrand its fine atmosphere. In the immediate area there are more pleasant and well-visited archipelago communities such as Smögen and Hunnebostrand, there is also a zoo called Nordens Ark where you can meet around 80 of the world's endangered animals. The beautiful nature and the opportunity to meet animals such as wolves, snow leopards or to come face to face with the world's largest feline, the Amur tiger, make the zoo a very popular excursion destination. In nearby Gerlesborg, there is an art school and a collective workshop where you can both see various exhibitions but also attend various training courses. If the weather turns cloudy or you feel the need for a workout in a gym environment, there is Tumlaren, Sotenäs municipality's swimming and wellness facility located in the coastal community of Väjern.
