This takes you to the huge Zillertal Arena ski area with a total of 150 kilometers of slopes in around 15 minutes. Another ski area in the immediate vicinity is the Wildkogel Arena ski area with 75 kilometers of slopes. In summer, the huge Krimml waterfalls are a crowd puller. They are the highest waterfalls in all of Europe. You can't miss them. The area also offers many hikes and mountain bike tours. There are plenty of shops for your daily needs right in town as well as a good selection of restaurants.
