New renovated and modern furnished in 2022, our Chameleon, your temporary accommodation (98 m²), welcomes you very warmly in the state capital Saarbrücken. The flat is located in a traffic-calmed area in the historic district of Sankt Arnual. Our centrally located temporary accommodation is easy to reach: by public transport, airport, train, by car and of course also on foot, by motorbike or bicycle. The airport, which is about 10 km away, can also be reached without your own car by means of an airport shuttle. In addition to a spacious daylight bathroom with a large, floor-level shower, you will of course have a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, kettle, coffee maker, induction cooker, oven, iron, toaster etc. at your disposal. We would like to highlight the washing machine, which is only used by you and is located in your flat in the HWR. All living rooms can be easily darkened with roller shutters. A small front garden area is currently being laid out by gardeners but will not be available until next spring, as the outside area has not yet been laid out. The historic Sankt Arnualer Markt (3-5 minutes on foot) with its varied gastronomic offer, the shops for daily needs within walking distance (supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, doctors, beverage market, ...) as well as the stops of the city railway (Saarbahn) and the buses within a few minutes on foot make the location of our accommodation unique. Directly connected to the cycle path network, you can also explore Saarbrücken in a comfortable and environmentally friendly way. Within a 5-minute walk you can reach the Saarbrücken Saarwiesen with beer gardens, barbecue areas, playgrounds and boat rental. Water sports, SUP, fishing spots, marina (10 min walk) and so on enrich the leisure activities around your temporary accommodation. Hiking trails, connection to Santiago di Compostella as well as several local recreation areas are within walking distance, city farms, alpaca farm etc. can be easily reached by car, bike or in combination with a short hike. Furthermore, the various specialist clinics in Saarbrücken are not far away, and various universities and the University of Saarland can be reached quickly by public transport. The Winterbergklinikum is only 2 km away, but also the University Clinic Homburg and the SHG Clinic Völklingen, which is known beyond the borders, can be reached quickly by car or public transport. Due to the favourable location, you will NOT hear the nearby motorway in this side street! The motorway access to the A620 / A6 is nevertheless less than 300m around the corner. However, due to the proximity to the Winterberg Clinic, you will occasionally hear the special signals of ambulances and, depending on the weather, the arrival and departure of the ADAC CH16 rescue helicopter at the Winterberg Clinic. Kernsaniert und modern eingerichtet im Jahr 2022 begrüßt Sie unser Chamäleon, Ihre Unterkunft (98 m²) auf Zeit, sehr herzlich in der Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken. Die Wohnung liegt verkehrsberuhigt im historischen Stadtteil Sankt Arnual. Unsere sehr zentral gelegene Unterkunft auf Zeit ist wunderbar zu erreichen: per ÖPNV, Flughafen, Bahn, mit dem PKW und natürlich auch zu Fuß, mit dem Motorrad oder dem Fahrrad. Der etwa 10km entfernte Flughafen, kann mit einem Flughafen-Zubringer auch ohne eigenen PKW erreicht werden. Ihnen stehen neben einem großzügigen Tageslichtbad mit bodenebener, großer Dusche selbstverständlich Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kühl-Gefrierkombi, Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Induktionsherd, Backofen, Bügeleisen,Toaster etc. zur Verfügung. Hervorheben möchten wir noch die eigene Waschmaschine, die nur von Ihnen genutzt wird und in Ihrer Wohnung im HWR steht. Alle Wohnräume sind mit Rollläden leicht zu verdunkeln. Ein kleiner Vorgarten-Bereich wird aktuell noch durch Gärtner angelegt jedoch erst im nächsten Frühjahr zur Verfügung stehen, da das Außengelände noch nicht angelegt ist. Der historische Sankt Arnualer Markt (3-5 Gehminuten) mit seinem vielfältigen gastronomischen Angebot, die fußläufig erreichbaren Geschäfte des täglichen Bedarfs (Supermärkte, Apotheken, Retsaurants, Ärzte, Getränkemarkt, ...) sowie die im Umkreis von wenigen Gehminuten gelegenen Haltestellen der Stadtbahn (Saarbahn) und der Busse machen die Lage unserer Unterkunft einzigartig. Direkt an das Radwegenetz angeschlossen, können Sie Saarbrücken auch komfortabel und umweltfreundlich erkunden. Im Umkreis von 5 Gehminuten erreichen Sie die Saarbrücker Saarwiesen mit Biergärten, Grillplätzen, Spielplätzen und Bootsverleih. Wassersport, SUP, Angelreviere, Yachthafen (10 min zu Fuß) und so weiter bereichern das Freizeitangebot rund um Ihre Unterkunft auf Zeit. Wanderwege, Anschluss an den Santiago di Compostella sowie mehrere Naherholungsgebiete sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreicht, Stadtbauernhöfe, Alpaka-Farm etc. können Sie sowohl mit dem PKW, dem Rad als auch in Vrbindung mit einer kleinen Wanderung bequem erreichen. Weiterhin befinden sich auch die verschiendenen Spezialkliniken in Saarbrücken nicht weit entfernt, diverse Hochschulen und die Universität des Saarlandes lassen sich mit dem ÖPNV schnell erreichen. Das Winterbergklinikum liegt nur knapp 2km entfernt aber auch die Uni-Klinik Homburg, sowie die über die Grenzen hinaus bekannte SHG KLinik Völklingen sind mit dem Auto oder ÖPNV schnell erreicht. Aufgrund der günstigen Lage hören Sie in dieser Nebenstraße die nahe Autobahn NICHT! Die Autobahnauffahrt zur A620 / A6 befindet sich dennoch keine 300m um die Ecke. Aufgrund der Nähe zur Winterbergklinik hören Sie jedoch hin und wieder die Sonderignale von Rettungswagen und je nach Witterung auch den An- und Abflug des ADAC Rettungshubschraubers CH16 am Winterbergklinikum.
