We thus reach the flat, go up the stairs and cross the threshold: we are greeted by the splendid and spacious living room flooded with light, with an open view over the rooftops, parquet flooring and exposed beams. On one side we find the separate kitchen and the first bathroom; on the other side we access the sleeping area with two bedrooms and a second bathroom. From the living area, a practical wooden staircase leads us to the large and habitable attic, equipped with convenient wardrobes along the walls. Finally, practical wooden steps lead us up to a small private paradise: the marvellous, generously sized altana with a breathtaking view of St. Mark's bell tower and the domes of the Basilica. Behind us is the expanse of typical Venetian roofs, while in front of us rises the majestic campanile, very close, of which we can clearly admire the arches of the belfry and, at the top of the pyramidal spire, the golden statue of the Archangel Gabriel. Der Rio Terà delle Colonne wurde 1837 erbaut und mit einer Brücke überquert, während auf der gesamten Länge des heutigen Sottoportico eine Fondamenta verlief. Wir erreichen also die Wohnung, steigen die Treppe hinauf und überqueren die Schwelle: Wir werden von einem herrlichen, geräumigen und lichtdurchfluteten Wohnzimmer mit offenem Blick über die Dächer, Parkettboden und Sichtbalken empfangen. Auf der einen Seite befinden sich die separate Küche und das erste Badezimmer; auf der anderen Seite gelangt man in den Schlafbereich mit zwei Schlafzimmern und einem zweiten Badezimmer.
