You can take daytrips to a beautiful lake, the "Lac de Carcès", and to characteristic Provençal villages such as Lorgues, Salernes and Cotignac, while the Mediterranean is also a short distance away. You can also spend a day whitewater canoeing the Gorges du Verdon or shopping and sampling the cultural offerings in larger cities such as Marseille or Aix-en-Provence.
