A nice feature of the pool is that the shallow end is a place where you can sit with your feet in the water while enjoying a refreshing dip. The pool is heated (weather permitting) from mid-November to May. CAUTION: the last 1.5 km towards the house are steep. This path is perfectly passable, but care should be taken, especially in the dark. For this reason, the route is suitable for people with good driving experience. Esta típica casa de vacaciones española con piscina privada se encuentra en una reserva natural protegida de Sierra de Tejeda y Almijaras, lejos del ajetreo y el tráfico, en una colina con vistas espectaculares a las montañas, al valle y al mar Mediterráneo. Cerca se encuentra el pueblo árabe de Alcaucín. El jardín, que rodea la vivienda, está muy bien cuidado y cuenta, entre otras cosas, con árboles frutales. Hay mucha privacidad y las diferentes terrazas cuentan tanto con sol como con sombra. Un bonito detalle de la piscina es que dispone de una zona poco profunda donde puede sentarse con los pies en el agua mientras disfruta de un aperitivo. La piscina está cerrada (dependiendo del clima) desde mediados de noviembre a mayo. Detrás de la vivienda se inicia un sendero en el parque nacional donde se encuentran varias rutas de senderismo o para ir en bicicleta de montaña e, incluso, puede escalar a la montaña más alta de la región, la Maroma. En Alcaucín puede realizar sus compras; el pueblo también es accesible a través de sendas de paseo. La ubicación es ideal para aquellos que buscan paz y tranquilidad, en medio de la preciosa naturaleza con una gran variedad de flora y fauna, pero sin estar muy lejos de la Costa del Sol y las tierras del interior más cercanas. ATENCIÓN: los últimos 1,5 km hacia la casa se realizan por un camino empinado con algunos tramos sin asfaltar. Este camino es fácil de conducir, pero se recomienda cierta precaución, especialmente en la oscuridad. Le petit village mauresque d'Alcausin est tout proche. Le jardin est bien aménagé, il dispose entre autre d'arbres fruitiers et s'étend tout autour de la maison. Il y a beaucoup d'intimité et vous trouverez aussi bien de l'ombre que du soleil grâce aux différentes terrasses. Un détail agréable de la piscine est que la partie peu profonde est un endroit où vous pourrez vous asseoir avec les pieds dans l'eau tout en profitant d'un rafraîchissement. La piscine est férmée (en fonction du temps) de mi-novembre à mai. Derrière la maison commence un itinéraire de promenade vers le parc national où vous pourrez trouver différents itinéraires de randonnée et de VTT, ainsi que l'ascension de la montagne la plus élevée de la région, le Maroma. Vous pourrez effectuer vos achats à Alcausin et le village est aussi accessible via des sentiers de promenade. La situation est particulièrement idéale pour tous ceux qui recherchent le repos et la tranquillité, au milieu d'une nature magnifique, à la faune et à la flore diversifiées, mais toutefois à courte distance de la Costa del Sol et de l'arrière-pays tout proche.
