Here it says "gattu" instead of "gata" on the street signs, which means street on Leksandsmål, a local dialect language. It is 2 km to Tällberg which is located on a slope down to Lake Siljan with a wonderful view of the lake. You have 12 km to Leksand, where there is a Summerland with activities. Rättvik is located 10 km from Laknäs with the famous stage Dalhalla which is located in a limestone quarry. You have 43 km to Nusnäs where the World-famous wooden horse is made. In Mora, Leksand and Rättvik there are 18-hole golf courses.
