In effetti è una casetta adatta proprio a chi cerca la pace. Il mare di Bocca di Magra si trova a circa 2 km di distanza, con la spiaggia e i barconi che portano alle scogliere di Punta Bianca, a Lerici. Tellaro fino a Portovenere. All'entrata del giardino c'è il posto macchina: l'abitazione dei proprietari è a 30 mt di distanza nel giardino, per cui c'è sempre un punto di riferimento. Il cottage era lo studio d'artista della proprietaria per cui risente di un'atmosfera particolare: contiene alcune opere e libri d'arte: ha un angolo appartato come cucinino e una doccia. Il luogo è adatto a intellettuali e artisti che richiedono raccoglimento. Nel giardino ci sono 2 tavoli con sedili di pertinenza del cottage e anche una doccia tra gli alberi. La zona è tra le più belle: a est ci sono le Alpi Apuane, Carrara, Forte dei Marmi; a ovest Portovenere e le 5 Terre.
