The larger Cahors is known for its Gothic fortress bridge over the Lot (Pont Valentré) and of course for its wine. Visit the wine castles where you can of course taste (and buy!). Also visit the Grottes du Pech Merle (44 km), the beautiful St. Cirq-Lapopie (50 km) and Château de Cénevières (60 km). At Catus (7 km) there is a swimming lake with rental of canoes and pedal boats. At the rear of the house is a second terrace with an outdoor kitchen and two barbecues (stone and gas). The children will not be bored with the swing, slide and table tennis table! Indoors, the interior is open, light and very well maintained, with a large void as a special feature.
