Das Chalet steht ungefähr 2 km von der Ortsmitte von Stadl entfernt. Dort ist auch ein beliebter Badesee. Das historische Städtchen Murau mit seinem Golfplatz ist 15 km entfernt. Die Gegend ist eines der sonnigsten und unberührtesten Gebiete Österreichs. Stille Bergpässe, kleine traditionelle Dörfer und dicht bewaldete Berghänge prägen die Landschaft.
