In der näheren Umgebung der Wohnung gibt es umfangreiche Wandermöglichkeiten, mehrere Badeseen, Wildparks, einen Baumkronenweg, Kletterwald, den bayerischen Nationalpark und vieles mehr. Aber auch die Städte Passau, Krumau, Prag, und Linz bieten sich als Ausflugsziel an. Direkt am Haus ist im Winter der Einstieg in ein ausgedehntes Loipennetz möglich. Für den Alpin-Skifahrer sind mehrere Lifte in der Umgebung schnell zu erreichen, auch Skikurse werden angeboten. Die Eissporthalle in Waldkirchen ist über die Wintermonate geöffnet. Ihre Freizeitgestaltung können Sie durch Nutzung des gemütlichen Aufenthaltsraumes, der Terrasse, Grillhütte und Spielplatz, Tischtennis, Kicker und Pool-Billard nach Belieben ergänzen.
