Head for the beautiful villages that abound in the region, including no fewer than 7 of the most beautiful in France, such as Gordes, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Roussillon and Bonnieux. You can go to the local grocery shop to buy your bread and newspaper, and opposite the church you'll find one of the best restaurants in the region. On Sundays, you'll find the tastiest regional fruit and vegetables at the large Provencal market in Reillanne, and it's in Banon that you can buy the traditional goat's cheese wrapped in chestnut leaves. A visit to Apt's cathedral, Saint-Anne, is a must. You can also enjoy shopping in the boutiques or lunching in a small restaurant. Near Apt there is also a water park on a lake where you can go sailing and surfing. In fact, there's far too much to do on your holiday in this splendid region!

Bâti sur les hauteurs, le paisible village de Viens est idyllique, et s'entoure de chemins de randonnées à pied et à vélo sillonnant les champs de lavande. Ralliez les beaux villages dont regorge la région, dont pas moins de 7 villages classés parmi les plus beaux de France, tels que Gordes, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Roussillon ou encore Bonnieux. Vous irez à l'épicerie du coin acheter votre pain et votre journal, et en face de l'église, vous trouverez l'un des meilleurs restaurants de la région. Een perfecte locatie! Deze totaal gerenoveerde Bergerie ligt midden in het schattige dorpje Viens. Beleef het Provençaalse leven met luxe en comfort! Voor uw brood en krantje loopt u even naar de kruidenier en één van de betere restaurants uit de regio ligt tegenover de kerk. De oorspronkelijke Bergerie is prachtig gerenoveerd en er is een tweede Bergerie naast gebouwd. Samen vormen ze één fraai geheel. Alles is tot in de details afgewerkt met behoud van authentieke Provencaalse stijlelementen. Rondom het vakantiehuis zijn romantische terrassen en een heerlijk privé-zwembad. Het dorpje is rustig en idyllisch (geluid van de kerkklokken, een haan die kraait etc). Het is gebouwd op een heuvel en u heeft hier adembenemend uitzicht op het schitterende gebied van de Lubéron. Vanuit het dorpje maakt u de mooiste wandeltochten, fietst u tussen de lavendelvelden en bezoekt u het ene fraaie dorp na het andere zoals bijvoorbeeld Vachères en Simiane-la-Rotonde. Hier geen hordes toeristen maar net zoals in Viens wel rust en oorspronkelijkheid! Op de grote Provençaalse zondagmarkt in Reillanne haalt u de lekkerste regionale groenten en fruit en voor het traditionele geitenkaasje in kastanjebladeren gaat u naar Banon. Een bezoek aan Apt met de kathedraal Saint-Anne mag niet ontbreken.Het is hier ook heerlijk winkelen in de Provençaalse boetiekjes of lunchen in een van de vele restaurantjes. Bij Apt is ook een recreatiepark met een meer met watersportmogelijkheden als zeilen en surfen. Eigenlijk is er in deze omgeving veel te veel te doen voor slechts 1 vakantie!

Visitate i bellissimi villaggi che abbondano nella regione, tra cui ben 7 dei più belli di Francia, come Gordes, Lacoste, Ménerbes, Roussillon e Bonnieux. Per comprare il pane e il giornale si può andare al negozio di alimentari locale, mentre di fronte alla chiesa si trova uno dei migliori ristoranti della regione.
