Krämer Bridge Cathedral square with cathedral and St. Severi Andreas quarter Jewish treasure Fish market Sights in the surrounding area. 20 min. to the small brook town Arnstadt. 45 min. to the winter sports metropolis Oberhof in the Thuringian Forest. 30 min. to the Goethe and Schiller city Weimar to the German National Theater. 50 minutes to Eisenach to visit Martin Luther at Wartburg Castle. The slate quarter is located in the green, southern district Möbisburg, behind the city forest "Steiger". The more than 1,000-hectare forest area is ideal for active pursuits far from the city center. The Steigerwald is designated as a landscape conservation area. The city center of Erfurt with its beautiful cathedral, numerous medieval buildings and of course the famous Krämerbrücke, is only 15 minutes away by car. There is also a bus connection that takes you to the train station in about 20 minutes. So you are centrally located and yet idyllic in the countryside. The convenient connection to the A4 (5 minutes) and the Erfurt intersection (10 minutes) make the journey and a possible commute easy and uncomplicated.
