Near the house there are many lakes to go to and swim. A bathing place is only about 5 km away and has a nice bathing area that is child friendly. If you want to go fishing, there are several lakes to choose from - and fishing licenses that you can buy in any shop near the lake you want to fish in. If you want to go to the larger city of Linköping, it is about 25 km, to Kolmården it is about 72 km and to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's world it is about 100 km.
