Welcome to Oxberg, located a few miles outside Mora in Dalarna and the Fädren's trail at Vasaloppsleden. Here you live on the owner's plot together with 3 more cozy log cabins where everyone shares a lovely lawn and barbecue area. If you are going to run the Vasaloppen sometime during the year, this is the perfect cabin as it is located directly next to the trail. Here, people like to pack a picnic bag and go hiking or take a turn on the MTB trail. The cottage, which is on two levels of 40 square meters, has a lovely terrace at the front with outdoor furniture. On the lower level there is a combined kitchen and living room with sofa, fireplace and dining table with chairs. The kitchen has a stove with 3 plates, separate oven, microwave, kettle, pressure cooker and fridge with freezer compartment. Bathroom with wc, sink and shower. Upstairs are the bedrooms which have 2 single beds in each room, all beds 80cm. None of the cottages have a TV. The owner rents out a rowing boat that can be booked by all guests who rent on the farm, first come, first served. The cottage is located in beautiful natural surroundings, rural and elevated with lovely natural plot and forest all around. Here you pick seasonal berries and mushrooms and in the area there is a great opportunity to see everything from moose to forest birds. Below is Oxbergs lake with its popular swimming area which has both a trampoline, jetty and sandy beach. If you want to fish, there are several different lake systems around with everything from trout to grayling (fishing license required). Youth groups cannot book this accommodation as a guardian is required for the entire stay. If you are staying for a longer period and need to do laundry, there are laundry facilities in the village's fresh laundry facility. The area around Siljan has lots of attractions. We recommend both Orsa Rovdjurpark in Grönklitt, the Zorn and Vasalopps museum in Mora, the Dalahest production in Nusnäs and a trip to Tomteland where Santa lives. Eine perfekte Unterkunft, wenn Sie am berühmten Rennen Vasaloppet teilnehmen möchten, denn die Loipe liegt direkt nebenan. Außerdem findet man in der Umgebung schöne Strecken zum Wandern und Mountainbiken. Das Häuschen hat zwei Ebenen und 40 Quadratmeter Fläche sowie eine schöne Terrasse an der Vorderseite mit Gartenmöbeln. Auf der unteren Ebene befindet sich eine kombinierte Küche und ein Wohnzimmer mit Sofa, Kamin und Esstisch mit Stühlen. Die Küche verfügt über einen Herd mit 3 Platten, separatem Backofen, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Schnellkochtopf und Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Badezimmer mit WC, Waschbecken und Dusche. Im Obergeschoss befinden sich die beiden Schlafzimmer mit 2 Einzelbetten in jedem Zimmer, alle Betten mit 80 cm Breite. Kein Fernseher oder WLAN im Haus. Dafür vermietet der Eigentümer vor Ort ein Ruderboot, das allen Gästen auf dem Hof angeboten wird, ganz unter dem Motto: Wer zuerst kommt, mahlt zuerst. Das Ferienhäuschen liegt in einer wunderschönen Umgebung, ländlich und erhöht mit einem schönen Naturgrundstück und Wald ringsum. Hier sammeln Sie saisonale Beeren und Pilze und in der Umgebung hat man Gelegenheit, Elche oder Waldvögeln zu beobachten. Unterhalb liegt der See Oxbergssjön mit seinem beliebten Badeufer, an dem es sowohl ein Trampolin, einen Steg als auch eine Strandlinie gibt. Wenn Sie angeln möchten, gibt es in der Umgebung mehrere verschiedene Gewässer mit allem, von Forelle bis Äsche (Angelschein erforderlich). Wenn Sie länger bleiben und Wäsche waschen müssen, gibt es Wäschemöglichkeiten in der frischen Wäscherei des Dorfes. Die Gegend um Siljan hat viele Attraktionen zu bieten.
