In the immediate area within a few minutes walking distance you reach Gullmarsfjorden which is Sweden's largest fjord here you will also meet Gårvik's fantastic child-friendly sandystripe surrounded by picnic-friendly grassy areas, here are also great opportunities for fishing or launching a kayak for your own exploration of all the fjord's bays and beaches. In the area there is also a viewpoint with wide views of the fjord and surrounding landscape, a nice place to enjoy the sun rising or setting. Through Munkedal flows the Örekil River, which is a popular river for salmon fishing, many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. In the immediate area is Torreby golf course, which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle environment with English-inspired castle park. Via the entrance door you enter a small welcoming hall that turns into the cottage's kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge / freezer, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. The cottage's slightly lower ceiling height of 2.0 makes it feel both cozy and cozy. Via the living room you come out to a covered terrace with both seating area and lounge group as well as barbecue. In unmittelbarer Nähe erreichen Sie in nur wenigen Gehminuten den Gullmarsfjord, den größten Fjord Schwedens. Hier treffen Sie auch auf Gårviks fantastisch kinderfreundlichen Sandstrand, der von picknickfreundlichen Rasenflächen umgeben ist. Auch hier gibt es tolle Möglichkeiten zum Picknicken Angeln oder Kajak fahren, um alle Buchten und Strände des Fjords auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. In der Gegend gibt es auch einen Aussichtspunkt mit weitem Blick auf den Fjord und die umliegende Landschaft, ein schöner Ort, um den Sonnenaufgang oder Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Durch Munkedal fließt der Örekilsälven, ein beliebter Fluss zum Lachsfischen. In unmittelbarer Nähe befindet sich der Golfplatz Torreby, Bohusläns ältester Golfplatz. Der Platz liegt in einer Schlossumgebung mit einem englisch inspirierten Schlosspark.
