My fully fitted apartment is situated in trendy Prenzlauer Berg area of Berlin, right opposite the famous Mauerpark. Away from traffic, the flat is located on the first floor of a courtyard wing. I have lived there for 17 years until I moved with my growing family to another part of Berlin. With a double bedroom and generous living room, kitchen with dining table and bathroom with tub, it offers an oasis of tranquillity on 50 m², though you can still stay connected with the world through high-speed connection through WIFI. Fittings include a double bed (140 cm x 200 cm), wardrobe, sofa bed, shelving units, Cabinets, chairs, side tables, and several lamps. The kitchen boasts a recently renewed fridge with freezer compartment, gas oven and hob, double sink, and large cupboard. The washing machine and central heating are also located here. The apartment is equipped with towels and bedlinen, hairdryer, crockery and cutlery, as well as pots and pans. The location is one of the most popular in Prenzlauer Berg, with the famous Mauerpark across the road. Gleimstrasse boast a host of eateries and trendy bars, as well as shops and the cinema “Colosseum”. In walking distance are the “Kulturbrauerei” venue and Max-Schmeling-Halle where many international stars perform. Public transport easily connects you with all areas of Berlin. The central station can be reached by tram in 30 minutes, Schoenefeld airport (BBI) by train in 45 minutes. There is an enormous variety of shops in walking distance, ranging from a large organic supermarket to Aldi. Two shopping centres, Schoenhauser Allee and Gesundbrunnen, are also around the corner. Keine Haustiere! Meine voll ausgestattete Nichtraucher-Wohnung befindet sich im Berliner Stadtteil Prenzlauer Berg im Gleimkiez direkt gegenüber des Mauerparks. Sie liegt im ruhigen Hinterhaus im ersten Stock. Ich habe dort selbst 17 Jahre gewohnt, bis ich mit meiner Familie an den Stadtrand gezogen bin. Mit zwei Zimmern, einer Küche mit Esstisch und einem Bad mit Badewanne bietet sie auf 50m² Platz zum Rückzug aus dem Trubel der Stadt und gleichzeitig durch schnelles Internet mit WLAN weiterhin Anbindung an die Welt. Zur Ausstattung gehören ein Bett mit einer Größe von 2m x 1,40m, ein Kleiderschrank, ein ausziehbares Schlafsofa und Regale, Schränke, Stühle, kleine Tische sowie Lampen. Die Küche ist voll funktionsfähig mit einem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach, einem Gasherd mit 4 Kochstellen und Ofen, einer Doppelspüle und einem Geschirrschrank. Außerdem befinden sich hier die Waschmaschine und die Gasetagenheizung, sowie der Boiler, der das warme Wasser liefert. In der Wohnung sind Handtücher und Bettwäsche vorhanden, außerdem ein Fön und Geschirr, Besteck, Töpfe und Pfannen. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Haus, das in einer sehr beliebten Ecke des Prenzlauer Bergs steht. Direkt gegenüber ist ein Zugang zum Falkpark, der östlich an den Mauerpark angrenzt und quasi der große Garten des Hauses ist. In der Gleimstraße und ihrer Umgebung befindet sich eine Vielzahl an internationalen Restaurants, Szene-Cafés und Kneipen sowie die „Kulturbrauerei" und die Max-Schmeling-Halle. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist in alle Richtungen günstig. Den Berliner Hauptbahnhof erreicht man in weniger als 30 Minuten mit der Tram, die auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite des Mauerparks rund um die Uhr fährt. Den Fernbahnhof Berlin-Gesundbrunnen erreicht man entweder mit dem Bus oder fußläufig in 10 bis 15 Minuten. Von dort fahren auch eine U-Bahn Richtung Alexanderplatz, Kreuzberg und Neukölln sowie mehrere S-Bahnlinien zum Beispiel Richtung Friedrichstraße, Potsdamer Platz und Brandenburger Tor. Außerdem fährt dort die Ringbahnlinie der S-Bahn. Diese erreicht man in derselben Zeit auch am S- und U-Bahnhof Schönhauser Allee, wo ebenfalls eine U-Bahn in die Stadtmitte und weiter zum Bahnhof Zoo und damit auch in die Nähe des Kurfürstendamms verkehrt. Der Flughafen BER in Schönefeld ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln in weniger als 60 Minuten erreichbar. Im nahe gelegenen Gleimtunnel auf der Grenze zum Stadtteil Wedding ist das Parken kostenlos. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind vielseitig. So gibt es in der Gleimstraße einen großen Bio-Markt, der zu Fuß in 5 Minuten erreichbar ist, ebenso wie ein ALDI-Markt um die Ecke in der Schwedter Straße. Am Gesundbrunnen und in der Schönhauser Allee stehen zwei große Einkaufszentren, und in der Umgebung gibt es viele kleinere und größere Läden aller Art.
