The village of Turckheim, located only 7km from Colmar, is famous not only for its rich historical center and the quality of its wines, but also by its night watchman, who continues to make his rounds every evening at 10:00 pm, from May to October. In the heart of the fortifications of the old town, you will stay in an apartment combining the charm of the old Alsatian buildings with beams and a magnificent parquet floor, with modern comfort. The Manala 2 apartment is located on the second floor of an Alsatian mansion. The access is done with period wooden stairs (steep and bent). The Duplex Manala 2 is composed on the main level: ️D'an open living space with ️ a living room/TV area, ️ a dining area to share a nice meal, and ️ a fully equipped kitchen (stove top, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker), ️D of a bedroom with a double bed and a storage closet. A bathroom with a shower, a basin and a toilet, ☀️Un covered balcony. Upstairs is: An office space, ️ A bedroom with a double bed. The whole apartment will be yours. Always in the spirit of satisfying you at best during your stay: the cleaning will be done, ️ the beds will be made with clean sheets, clean towels will be at your disposal as well as a bath mat per bathroom and a tea towel in the kitchen, free WIFI connection Coming with family or friends and need a second home? Manala 1 apartment is on the same floor and can accommodate 2 people. ️Turckheim has plenty of parking spaces in the city center and on the outskirts of the city center. ⛔ The courtyard allowing access to garages and a house, we ask you not to park there. You can stay there while you drop off your bags. The Neighborhood: To get to your accommodation, you will have to go through the main gate of the city (Porte de France). This tower-gate from the years 1315 is the oldest in the city. It is through this gate that the trade passed. This gate leads to the Place Turenne, the main square of the city. Once you have passed the city gate, you can discover the heart of the city with its guardhouse. Built around 1580, this beautiful sandstone and plastered building had a double use: stove (association) of guilds and warehouse. The bell was used to call the burghers to the gathering. The building now houses the tourist office. In front of it, a beautiful XVIIIth century fountain topped by a Virgin and Child.

Vous pouvez y rester le temps de déposer vos valises. Le Quartier : Pour vous rendre à votre logement, vous devrez passer par la porte principale de la ville (Porte de France). Cette tour-porte des années 1315 est la plus ancienne de la ville. C’est par cette porte que transitait le commerce. Cette porte mène à la place Turenne, place principale de la ville. Une fois la porte de la ville passée, vous pourrez découvrir le cœur de la ville avec notamment son Corps de Garde. Construit vers 1580, ce beau bâtiment en grès et enduit était à double usage : poêle (association) des corporations et entrepôt. La cloche était utilisée pour appeler les bourgeois au rassemblement. Le bâtiment abrite aujourd’hui l’office du tourisme. Devant, belle fontaine du XVIIIème surmontée d’une Vierge à l’Enfant.
