La Terre 6+2p. Parc Les Etoiles is located in the Belgian Ardennes on a sunny southern slope above the river Meuse. The park has a surface of 28 hectares and each luxurious chalet here offers plenty of space and privacy. From the veranda you can peacefully enjoy the Meuse valley. There is a stairs case down to the river Meuse and to the jetty for the river cruise. Parc Les Etoiles is very complete. The restaurant "La Bonne Heure" serves excellent food. On the beautiful restaurant terrace you can relax with the fine view over the valley and if you're lucky an amazing sunset. There is a new supermarket (2013) and a laundry here also. There is no lack of activities either: tennis courts, an indoor and (non-heated) outdoor pool and an indoor and outdoor playground guarantee many hours of fun regardless of the weather. In the summer season, the little ones will very much enjoy the animation team. Finally, there is also the reception where you will be kindly assisted every day by the friendly staff. The swimmingpool is temporarily closed for maintenance. The restaurant will be closed on March 12. La Terre is a detached chalet of approx. 65 m2 in surface and can accommodate 6 adults and 2 childeren. The living room has a sitting and dining area with TV, a double sofa bed and a decorative fireplace. There is a complete kitchen with a microwave. There are three bedrooms with two box spring beds each. The bathroom has a double sink, shower and toilet. The house has electric heating. Outside there is a furnished veranda. Outside the park there are many attractive places to visit. The lively Dinant and the provincial capital of Namur are nearby. A boat trip on the Meuse, rock climbing, exploring stunning caves, relaxing and watching the people going by at a sidewalk cafe, enjoying the beautiful landscape in a steam train, descending on the river with a kayak, relaxing cycling or walking through the green and wooded area: you can have it all at Parc Les Etoiles The city that you should definitely visit and explore is Dinant. The Citadel stands out as you drive between the valleys and hills of the Ardennes. It is a city full of impressive sights. In this lively city, the terraces of the many cafes and restaurants along the banks of the Meuse river are a lot of fun in summer. From Dinant, you can take a boat trip on the river Maas. In the season the boats even get to the dock at Parc Les Etoiles. The Maas River dominates the landscape and flows among beautiful rocks. It is a real feast for the eyes. Just before Dinant the mountaineers often go climbing on these rocks. You can also descend on the river Lesse in a rented kayak. Along the way you will discover the Ardennes in their entire beauty. Underground rivers are fascinating! The caves of Han that are three stars rated in the Michelin guide are more than worth a visit! An underground ride with a hundred years old tram, guided tours in different languages, a sound and light show and an impressive underground river. On your way stop at one of the many sluices, or even sail on a boat through the sluices, it is a unique experience. In Han-sur-Lesse Wildlife Park there are several species of wild animals that originally lived in this area that have found their home again here. Near the park and even along the park there are a number of walking and cycling routes for all our sporting guests. Go on an extraordinary journey through the Three Valleys aboard an authentic steam train. The historic railway through this area is among the finest in Europe. You will find plenty of space and relaxing opportunities in the area. Along the way you will be awed by the green and wooded area, and the river Meuse will take you everywhere! Nearby there are many monasteries, castles and churches, including the Abbey of Leffe, where the renowned beer is still brewed Do not forget the shopping in the provincial town of Namur, located on the Meuse and Sambre. There is are still a lot of other things to do in and around Parc Les Etoiles. - Children's furniture includes: a cot and highchair. - If you have reserved a cot when making your booking, the bedding will not be provided for it. We ask you to please bring your own. - Overnight visitors must register at the reception, and park charges must be paid (€ 1.10 p.pers / night). - We can not assume responsibility for lost or mislaid property, damage to property or personal injury incurred during your stay at Parc Les Etoiles. - Quad biking is not allowed in the park.
