Holiday cottage situated by Tindevegen, 6 km from Øvre Årdal - the gateway to Jotunheimen National Park - and 18 km from Sognefjorden - the worlds longest, inhabited fjord. Jotunheimen has some of the highest mountains in Northern Europe. Tindevegen is the 32 km long mountain road between Årdal and Turtagrø in Luster. The cottage was built in 1954, but renovated with a new bathroom in 2011. It has one bedroom with a family bunk bed, where the lower bed is 120 cm wide. Next to it is a single bed. There is a double sofa bed (120 cm wide) for two people in the living room. The veranda is 30 m², with a stunning view of the valley. Enjoy the sound of a river 100 meters away. The washing machine is placed in the bathroom. The cottage is the perfect starting point for day excursions, with visits to museums, information centers, stave churches, galleries and activities like paddling, rafting, fjord cruise, glacier walks, mountain climbing and hiking. You can catch small trout in the river, or go fishing in the many mountain lakes nearby. Buy your fishing license in Øvre Årdal. Between July 1st and August 31st, there is salmon and sea trout in the water system Årdalsvassdraget 6 km away, consisting of 3 rivers. Das Ferienhaus steht am Tindevegen, der 32 km langen Gebirgsstraße zwischen Årdal und Turtagrø im Bezirk Luster. Im Hintergrund kann man das Rauschen des Flusslaufes nur ca. 100 m weiter hören. Sie wohnen zudem nur 6 km von Øvre Årdal, das als Eingangsportal zum Jotunheimen Nasjonalpark gilt, sowie 18 km vom inneren Teil des Sognefjordes, der als längster Fjord der Welt gilt. In Jotunheimen findet man einige der höchsten Berggipfel Nordeuropas. Diese reizvolle Umgebung lädt zum Aktivsein an frischer Luft ein! Im Haus stehen im SZ eine sogenannte Familienkoje (unten 120 cm, oben normale Breite - siehe Foto) sowie ein Einzelbett zur Verfügung. Außerdem doppelte Schlafcouch (120 cm breit) im Wohnzimmer. Im Zeitraum 01.07. bis 31.08. kann man etwa 6 km vom Haus im Årdalsvassdraget nach Lachs und Meerforelle angeln. Mit seiner großartigen Aussicht zum hübschen Tal ist das Haus ein hervorragender Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen durch die Natur.
